Ingredients
- 1 (3-lb.) beef chuck ann, blade
- or 7-bone pot roast
- 4 medium potatoes, quartered
- 4 medium carrots, cut into
- l 1/2-inch pieces
- 2 stalks celery, cut into 1 V2-inch
- pieces
- 1/2 cup Homemade Onion Soup
- Mix (this page) or dry onion
- soup mix*
- 1 (lO 3/4-oz.) can condensed
- cream of mushroom soup
- with 1/3 less salt

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 325°F. Cut 30xl8-inch
piece of heavy-duty foil; place in
13x9-inch (3-quart) baking dish or
baking pan. Place roast in center of
foil; arrange vegetables around roast.
Sprinkle roast and vegetables with
soup mix; spoon condensed soup
over roast and vegetables. Seal foil
securely.
Bake at 325°F. for 2 to 3 hours or
until roast and vegetables are tender.
Spoon sauce over meat and
vegetables before serving. **
