Creamed Chipped Beef on Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk (I use half and half)
  • chopped pastrami
  • pinch of cayenne pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter, Whisk in flour all at once and forma roux. Whisk in milk, a little at a time. Increase heat to medium-high and cook stirring until thickened, Bring to a boil, stir in beef. Heat and serve over toast.
