Ingredients
- 2 6 oz packages semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup light cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 oranges, sectioned
- 2 bananas
- 2 pears
- 2 apples
Preparation
Step 1
Over low heat melt the chocolate with the sugar and butter. Slowly stir in the light cream and vanilla. Heat 3 to 4 minutes longer, stirring until all the ingredients are well blended. Keep warm in a chafing dish or a fondue pot.
To serve: Peel and section oranges; cut bananas into 1-inch chunks; wash, core and slice apples and pears. Brush fruit lightly with lemon juice to keep from browning.
