Sausage - Ham Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1/2 (1 #) pkg ground pork sausage
  • 2 slices white bread
  • 1 (8oz) pkg shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 tsp prepared mustard
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 2 c chopped cooked ham

Preparation

Step 1

Cook sausage until well done and crumbled. Drain well.
Arrange bread slices in a lightly greased casserole dish. Sprinkle sausage over bread. Sprinkle 1/2 of cheese over sausage.
Whisk together eggs and next 3 ingredients. Pour over cheese. Sprinkle with ham; top with remaining half of cheese. Bake at 350* for 45 minutes.
