Smoked Gouda Grits

Ingredients

  • 6 c low sodium chicken broth
  • 2 c milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp groun white pepper
  • 2 c uncooked quick cooking grits
  • 1 3/4 c shredded smoked Gouda (7oz wheel)
  • 3 tbs unsalted butter

Preparation

Step 1

Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil and gradually whisk in grits. Cover, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until thickened. Add cheese and butter stirring until melted. Serve hot.
