Hot Dog or Hamburger Buns

Ingredients

• 1 1/4 c. milk
• 1 egg
• 6 Tbsp. vegetable or canola oil
• 3 Tbsp. sugar
• 4 c. bread flour
• 1 Tbsp. plus 1 t. vital wheat gluten
• 2 t. salt
• 2 1/2 t. yeast

Preparation

Step 1

Place all ingredients your bread machine according to your machine's directions.

Program the machine for dough.

Once the dough cycle is complete, divide the dough in equal portions and shape according to whether you want hot dog or hamburger buns.

Cover loosely and allow the dough to rest after shaping.
Wait 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Bake for 15 - 20 minutes, until lightly browned.
