Another old recipe. Makes a geeat cake. Add your own icing and pecans on top

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soft butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Cream sugar and butter. Blend in eggs, beat well.
Add flour, b.p., salt and beat. Add milk and vanilla.
Bake 375* - 15-20 min or until toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool and remove from pan
