Sweet Tea Vodka Slushies

Ingredients

• 4 cups water
• 2 family-sized iced tea bags
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1 lemon, juiced
• For Cocktails
• 2 1/2 cups crushed ice
• 1 1/2 cups iced tea
• 3 oz. vodka
• 1/2 lemon, juiced

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium-sized saucepan, bring half the water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Cover and allow to steep for 10 minutes. Remove the tea bags and transfer iced tea to a pitcher. Add 2 cups of cold water, sugar, and lemon juice and stir to combine. Refrigerate until completely chilled.

To make Coctails

Combine ice, iced tea, vodka and lemon juice in a blender. Blend until a slushy consistency. Pour into glasses and serve with lemon slices. Enjoy! This makes about 2 drinks.
