Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. water
- Dash pepper
- 1/4 cup finely crushed saltine crackers (6-7 crackers)
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 5 beef cube steaks (about 4 oz. each)
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 1 8-oz. can (1 cup) pizza sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Beat together egg, water, and pepper. Combine crumbs and half the cheese. Dip steaks in egg mixture, then in crumbs. In skillet, brown steaks in hot oil. Drain on paper toweling. Arrange steaks in 10x6x1 1/2 inch baking dish; cover with pizza sauce and sprinkle with remainging cheese. Bake in 325 oven for 20 min.
Serve with Italian Bread.
