Hamburger Vegetable Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lbs hamburger
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 8 cups beef broth or beef bouillon
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes with juice
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut up
  • 4 carrots, peeled and cut up
  • 4 stalks celery, cut up
  • 1 cup cut corn (canned or frozen)
  • 1 cup frozen peas

Preparation

Step 1

Brown hamburger with chopped onion, drain off excess fat/water. Add beef broth (or beef bouillon & water) and tomatoes with juice. Simmer ½-1 hour. Add potatoes and cook 10 minutes. Add carrots and celery, cook until tender. Add cut corn and frozen peas and simmer.
