Banana Split Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen deep-dish pie shell
  • 1 1/4 cups vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1/2 cup chocolate fudge sauce
  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 1 1/4 cups chocolate ice cream, softened
  • 2 1/2 cups strawberry ice cream
  • Whipped cream
  • Maraschino cherries

Preparation

Step 1

1.Bake pie shell empty according to package directions and let cool. Cover bottom of pie shell with vanilla ice cream. Place fudge sauce in a resealable plastic bag and snip off corner. Drizzle 1/2 of fudge sauce over ice cream, top with 1/2 of sliced bananas. Freeze for 15 minutes.
2.Layer chocolate ice cream on top of bananas; repeat layers of fudge sauce and bananas. Freeze pie for 15 minutes more.
3.Place scoops of strawberry ice cream around edge and in middle of pie. Put whipped cream in a pastry bag fitted with a star tip, then pipe dollops of cream between strawberry scoops. Top each slice with a cherry. Makes 8 servings.
