Chocolate Cake w/ brewed coffee

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup baking cocoa
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, room temp
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

1. preheat oven to 325 degrees
2. grease and flour two 9 inch baking pans
3. Sift together dry ingredients and place into mixer and blend for 35 seconds
4. Add coffee, milk, and oil and mix until combined, 1 minute
5. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until fully combined and has nice consistent texture, will be watery.
6. Pour into prepared baking pans and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
