Blueberry and banana baked oatmeal

Ingredients

  • Combine and mix the following dry ingredients in a mixing bowl:
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 1/8 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Combine and mix the following wet ingredients in another mixing bowl:
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup honey

Preparation

Step 1

Prep the base:

Grease a 9x9 pan
Line the bottom of greased pan with a layer of sliced bananas
Spread 3/4 cup of blueberries atop the bananas
Sprinkle 1/2 tsp of cinnamon on top of fruit
Drizzle 1 tbs of honey over fruit
Cover the pan with aluminum foil
Bake at 375 degrees for fifteen minutes

Combine the base and mix:

Sprinkle dry mixture over baked blueberries and bananas
Pour wet mixture over dry mixture
Top it off with some more blueberries and walnuts
Bake pan at 375 degrees for 30 minutes

And voilà, your mouthwatering breakfast is set for some days to come. Your stomach will thank you
