PIZZA CASSEROLE

4 cups small shell pasta
1 Jar (700 ml) pasta sauce
2 tsp. olive oil
2 onions, sliced
4 cups sliced mushrooms
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
¼ tsp. pepper
1-1/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 oz. thinly sliced pepperoni (60 g)
Half sweet red pepper, chopped

Ingredients

  • In a large pot of boiling, salted water, cook pasta for 6 to 8 min. or until tendedr but firm. Reserving 1/2 cup cooking water, drain pasta and return to pot. Stir in pasta sauce and reserved 1/2 cup
  • Meanwhile, in large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat; cook onions, mushrooms, Italian seasoning and pepper, stirring often for 10 to 15 min. or until golden. Spoon over pasta mixture. Sprinkle
