Ingredients
- 1 package yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 TBS. sugar
- 3 1/2 - 4 cups flour
- 1 TBS. coarse salt
- 1/4 cup live oil
- cornmeal
Preparation
Step 1
place water and yeast in mixer. Stir and let sit for 5 minutes. Turn mixer on low and add flour. Dissolve salt in 2 TBS. of water and add to flour. Pour in 1/4 cup olive oil. When dough starts to come together turn to medium. Mix for about 10 minutes until dough is smooth and elastic, adding flour if necessary.
Turn dough out into a oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let rise for an hour.
Coat pan with olive oil and corn meal.
