Poached Corn

Ingredients

  • 5 * 5 cups fresh or frozen corn
  • 2 * 2 cups milk
  • 4 * 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 * 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3/4 * 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 * 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

Step 1

* Prep/Total Time: 20 min.

* In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cook over low heat for 10-12 minutes or until corn is tender, stirring frequently. Serve with a slotted spoon. Yield: 6 servings.
