Ingredients
- Make sure to get a brisket point (less fat)
- Depends size of brisket
- 1 Campbell beef broth (or 1-1/2 can Campbell Beef Broth – depends on size)
- 1 can water
- 5 drops or more liquid smoke
- 1-1/2 crushed garlic
- Squeeze of 1 lemon
Preparation
Step 1
Pour over brisket and marinate overnight – fat side up (cover up with foil)
Next day – turn over fat side down and bake at 300 degrees from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (covered with foil) – last hour of cooking cover with barbeque sauce uncovered.
Cool and slice brisket against the grain. Save marinade broth and strain.
Bake at 300 degrees one hour before serving and pour strained broth and covered with foil.
Serve with barbeque sauce.
