Orange Cream Pops

Ingredients

  • cooking spray
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  • 1 quart orange sherbet

Preparation

Step 1

place a baking sheet inf freezer to chill, abt 20 min
line baking sheet w/ parchment paper & coat w/ cooking spray.
spray insides of eight 3-to-4" cookie cutters & place on parchment
fill each cutter halfway w/ sm. scoops of ice cream & sherbet (abt. 1/2 C each), alternating to create marbled effect
repeat w/ another layer to fill cutters
smooth surface of each w/ offset spatula or back of spoon
cover w/ plastic wrap
freeze 1 HR

meanwhile, place another baking sheet in freezer to chill
then line w/ parchment & coat w/ cooking spray

remove cookie cutters from freezer a few at a time & use plastic wrap to push ice cream mixture out of cutters
insert wooden stick halfway into pop
smooth surface if needed
lay pops on other lined baking sheet
cover w/ plastic wrap & freeze until firm, abt. 30 more min.
