Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
- 10 1/2 oz beef bouillon cubes (10x6 g)
- 10 cups boiling water
- 14 oz canned tomtatoes, broken up
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup diced carrot
- 1 1/2 diced potato
- 1 cup chopped cabbage
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp each pepper and garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp each basil and oregano
- 8 oz fusilli
- 14 oz kidney beans or garbanzo, drained
Preparation
Step 1
Scramble-fry bacon, onion, ground beef to brown. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water and add to meat. Add next 10 ingredients. Bring to a boil Cover and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 25 mintues. Add raw pastaa and beans. Boil slowly for 10 minutes or until pasta is tender.
