Ham and broccoli potato bake

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg scalloped potatoes
  • 4 c boiling water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp margarine
  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 c diced full cooked ham
  • 1 pkg 10oz frozen broccoli thawed and drained
  • 1 c shredded Swiss
  • 2 egg beaten
  • 1 small onion 4 cup
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 1 c milk

Step 1

Heat oven 375, grease pie plate 9 inches cover potatoes with boiling water in 2 qt bowl stir in salt let stand uncovered 15 minutes. Drain, toss potatoes with melted butter on 1 egg press potatoes mixture against bottom of pan and side. Bake 10 min. Mix ham, broccoli 1/2 c of cheese 2 eggs and onion. Heat 2 tbsp butter in pan. Stir in sauce mix and milk, heat to boiling over med heat, stir constantly. Boil and sir 1 minute fold into ham mixture, spoon into potatoes shell. Bake uncovered 30 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake until cheese is melted about 5 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
