Orange Coconut Cake

Ingredients

  • Moist Deluxe Orange Supreme Cake Mix(Duncan Hines) May substitute yellow cake mix if orange is not available.
  • 1/3 c oil
  • 1 1/3 c water
  • 3 eggs
  • 140 z Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 c orange juice
  • Zest from 1 orange
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • pinch salt
  • 8 oz Cool Whip
  • 12 oz coconut, frozen, fresh, thawed

Preparation

Step 1

Lightly grease 9x13 baking pan.
Prepare and cook cake according to directions on the box. Cool. Leave in pan.
Poke holes in the cake with a fork.
Drizzle cake with 1 can Eagle Brand and orange syrup.

Orange Syrup:
Combine OJ, sugar, lemon juice,and salt. Boil 3-5 min until thickens.
Top with cool whip and sprinkle with coconut.
