Cream cheese candies

Ingredients

  • 1 3oz pkg cream cheese
  • 1/4 t peppermint or almond extract
  • 3 c powdered sugar
  • green and red colored sugar, optional

Preparation

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine cream cheese and extract. Beat in 1 1/2c powdered sugar. Knead in remaining powdered sugar until smooth. Shape into 1/2 inch balls. Roll in colored sugar if desired. Place on ungreased baking sheet and flatten with fork. Let stand 1 hr. to harden. Store in airtight container.
