Mini Cheese Balls

This is from a recipe I found and have tried a few different ways. You can use any kind of cheese you'd like, and even use one kind in the mixture and a different kind to roll them in. Always a hit at a party!

Ingredients
- 1 container (8 ounces) cream cheese spread
- 1 garlic clove, pressed
- 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco® hot pepper sauce (optional)
- 1 package (8 ounces) finely shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped almonds, pecans, snipped fresh parsley, or more shredded cheese.
- Assorted crackers (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
1. In bowl, combine cream cheese spread, garlic and pepper sauce, if desired; mix well. Add cheddar cheese to cream cheese mixture (mixture will be stiff).
2. Using Small Scoop, drop level scoops of cheese mixture onto cutting board. Coat cheese balls in almonds, pecans, parsely, or shredded cheese. Serve with assorted crackers, if desired.
