Russian Tea Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soft butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Stir in flour, salt and chopped nuts. Chill dough. Roll into 1 inch balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 400 F until set, NOT BROWN. While warm, roll in powdered sugar. Roll again when cool.
