Ingredients
- Vinagrette:
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 4 tsp. sugar
- 1 head Romaine
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 can Mandarin Oranges, drained
- 1/4 cup salad oil
- 2 Tbs. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbs. white wine vinegar
- 1 Tbs. parsley
Preparation
Step 1
Wisk vinagrette and refrigerate until ready to use. Saurw almonds and sugar. Use low heat and stir constantly until almonds are coated with melted sugar and slightly browneed. Cool. Put Romaine and celery in large bowl. Toss wiith celery and oranges. Before serving toss with almonds.
