Oriental Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 large Nappa cabbage
  • 2 bunches scallions
  • 6 oz, sunflower seeds
  • 4 oz. slivered almonds
  • 2 pkgs. Ramen noodles (Oriental
  • flavor)
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 pkgs. seasonings from oriental
  • Ramen noodles
  • 1 cup wesson oil
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard

Preparation

Step 1

Saute sunflower seeds, almonds and crushed cooked noodles in olive oil until crispy.
Chop cabbage and green onions (use the entire green stem).

Combine the sauce ingredients in a blender.
Toss with dressing just before serving.
This salad does not save very well.
