TEA RING

Ingredients

  • Mix together
  • 2 tbsp yeast
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • Scald: 2 cups milk
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Preparation

Step 1

Add in scalded milk with enough flour to knead. Let rise once, roll out. Add lots of brown sugar and raisins or fruit peel and cinnamon. Let rise again, then cut down center so mixture is exposed. Cook 3/4 of an hour in moderate oven.
