Peach Cobbler Cake

Ingredients
- 1 lb. ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- vanilla ice cream, optional
- caramel, optional
- chopped pecans, optional
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Have a 9x13 metal pan ready, if you are using a glass 9x13 pan make sure to spray with cooking oil first, set aside.
In a medium mixing bowl add peaches, milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir together until well combined and pour into prepared 9x13 pan. Sprinkle white cake mix (dry) evenly over the batter. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
Place in preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the cobbler part of the cake is bubbly and a light golden brown. Remove from oven and allow cake to cool. Serve with ice cream, caramel and chopped pecans if desired.
