Quick Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 C all purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 baking powder
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/2 C shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 T butter
  • 2/3 C milk

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450

In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Once combined stir in cheese.

Cut butter into flour mixture until coarse crumbs form.

Using fork, stir in milk until a soft dough forms. Do not over mix

Drop batter in heaping tablespoons 1 inch apart onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake until biscuits are firm about 15 min.
