Pesto Pasta with Turkey Sausage

Ingredients
- 1 package (375 grams) Turkey sausage
- 1/2 c Extra virgin olive oil
- 25 g Bag fresh basil
- 1/2 c Fresh parsley
- 1/4 c garlic
- 1 c Fresh spinach
- 32 g Light Parmesan cheese
- 8 c Whole wheat pasta

Preparation
Step 1
Remove sausage from casings. Break up into small pieces and fry in non-stick pan until no longer pink. Add olive oil, garlic, chopped herbs and spinach and red pepper flakes. Pan fry for 3 to 5 minutes. Add parmesan cheese. Toss with cooked pasta until well coated.
Yields 10 - 1 cup servings
