Rump Roast Au Jus

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbs. black pepper
  • 1 Tbs. paprika
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cayenne
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 4 lb. rump roast
  • 1/2 cup water

Preparation

Step 1

In a samll bowl, mix together all of the spices. Rub mixture over the surface of the meat. Place roast in a slow cooker, and add 1/2 cup water.

Cover, and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. When meat is tender and well done, transfer meat to a serving platter. Skim fat from juices, and strain, serve with meat
