Ingredients
- 2 pounds flank steak
- ◦1 T vegetable oil
- ◦4 minced garlic cloves
- ◦1/2 C soy sauce
- ◦1/2 C water
- ◦2/3 C brown sugar
- ◦1/2 t minced ginger
- ◦2 T corn starch
- ◦3 T water
- ◦3 green onions
- ◦Salt
- ◦Red chili powder as per taste
Preparation
Step 1
Put salt and spices on the meat and put it in the pressure cooker and set browning mode. When done remove from pressure cooker.
2.Now add in the oil in the pressure cooker. Now it is time to add the garlic and sauté for 2 minutes. Add in the ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar in the pressure cooker. Now add the browned beef to the pressure cooker and cook for 12 minutes on high pressure.
3.Mix corn starch and water and add this mixture to the cooked beef sauce. Mongolian beef is ready. Garnish with green onions.
