Spanish Cheese-Stuffed Dates with Prociutto

Ingredients

  • 1/4 C (2oz) goat cheese at room temp
  • 1/4 C (2oz) mascarpone cheese at room temp
  • 1/4 C finely chopped basil leaves
  • Kosher salt and ground black pepper
  • 16 Medjool dates (12oz), pitted
  • 8 thin slices prosciutto, halved lengthwise
  • 16 toothpicks/cocktail picks

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cheeses and basil with salt and pepper
Stuff dates with 1/2t mixture. Close and wrap prosciutto around each date and secure with toothpick
Arrange dates on platter
Serve
