BRIE, BACON & BLACKBERRY JAM GRILLED CHEESE

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bacon, cut in half
  • 4 slices crusty bread, about 1/2" thick, buttered on one side
  • 2 tbsp blackberry preserves
  • 4 oz brie, rind removed and sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Cook bacon until crisp and drain. Pour out the drippings and wipe out the skillet. Spread the unbuttered side of the bread with 1 tbsp each of the preserves and top with the bacon and cheese. Top with the remaining slices of bread. Cook over medium heat until golden brown, flip and cook until the bread is golden and the cheese has melted. Slice sandwiches in half and serve.
