Spanish paella (rice)

Ingredients

  • And type of meat (beef, pork, or seafood)
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • Container of saffron
  • 8 oz canned tomatoes
  • Salt

Preparation

Step 1

Brown meat in large fry pan with 1 chopped green pepper and 1 small chopped onion. Crush 4 cloves garlic with salt. Add I container saffron to garlic and salt. Set aside. Add 8oz canned tomatoes
To ingredients in pan. Add garlic mixture to pan. Add enough water to almost fill the pan,n ring to a boil. Add rice 1/2 c for each c of water. Simmer until water is absorbed (about 20 min) do not use instant or quick cooking rice.
