Chewy Coffee Brownies

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 firmly packed brown sugar
• 1/2 c reduced calorie stick margarine
• 2 1/ t instant coffee granules
• 2 egg whites
• 1 egg
• 2 c flour
• 2 t baking powder
• 1/8 t salt
• 1/2 c semi chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, margarine, and coffee granules in a small saucepan. Place over low heat, cook 4 min. or until margarine melts and the mixture is smooth, stirring frequently.

Combine egg mixture, vanilla, egg whites, and egg. Beat at low speed of a mixer until smooth.

Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture, beating well. Stir in chocolate bits.


Spread in a 13x9 sprayed pan
