Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon, fried, but not too crisp
- 28 oz can pork and beans, drained
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/2 cup br. sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tsp Worchestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp liquid smoke
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1 tsp prepared mustard
- a pinch of baking soda (to help with after-effects)
Preparation
Step 1
Mix beans with other ingredients; top with cooked bacon. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
