Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 T vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/4 cups peanut butter
- 2 cups flour
- 1 t baking soda
- 2 cups oatmeal (i use half qhick cooking and half regular oats)
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350
Grease a 9x13 baking dish
In a large bowl, using electric mixer at med speed, cream the butter with both sugars and vanilla until no sugar granules remain (about 4 minutes).
Add peanut butter and beat until combined.
Add eggs and beat until combined.
In a bowl combine the flour with the baking soda and oats. Add to the creamed mixture and mix on low speed until combined.
Mix in chocolate chips.
Spread into prepared baking dish.
Bake for 22-25 minutes or until JUST set (do not overbake).
Cool and cut into squares.
