Frozen Chocolate Banana Breeze

A frozen treat that is non-dairy, very low-fat and low sugar, using Blue Diamond Unsweetened Almond Breeze.

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups Unsweetened Almond Breeze
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/3 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 2 ripe Bananas, mashed
  • Sugar to taste, if desired

Preparation

Step 1

Mash the bananas and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, add Almond Breeze and vanilla. Add unsweetened cocoa powder and stir until it has completely incorporated. Set aside for a couple of minutes and then stir well again.

Stir in the mashed bananas.

Pour into the molds and freeze for at least 3-4 hours.

You can run it under warm water for a few seconds to help it release quicker.



Note: Sugar or sugar substitute can be added if desired.

Note: If you don't have almond breeze, you can use regular milk.

Note: If you don't like the unsweetened cocoa, you could melt 1/2 cup of chocolate chips in regular milk.

Note: If you have chocolate or banana extract, you could add some for extra flavor.
