- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 apples (Granny Smith or Newtown Pippin)
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a 12 inch skillet over medium-high heat, heat butter, ½ cup sugar, and ¼ cup water to boiling. Add apple wedges; cook about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until apples are golden and sugar mixture begins to caramelize. Meanwhile, blend eggs, milk, flour, salt, and 2 Tbsp. sugar until batter is smooth. Pour batter over apples. Place skillet in oven; bake pancake 15 minutes or until puffed and golden. Serve immediately.
