Ingredients
- Unbaked Pie Shell
- 1/3 cup ham or bacon
- 1/2 lb. swiss cheese
- 1 TBS butter
- 1 chopped onion
- 5 eggs
- 2 cloves garlic
- salt, pepper
- 1 1/2 cup milk or cream
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400. Line bottom of pie shell with ham and cheese. In saucepan, melt butter. Add onion and cook slowly, stirring occationally until onions are soft. Spread over ham and cheese in pie shell. Beat eggs and add salt to taste. Gradually stir in milk until it thickens slightly. Pour into shell. Bake for 30 minutes or until custard is set and golden on top.
