Ingredients
- 1 medium tomato, finely diced (about 1 cup)
- 1/2 small red onion, finely diced (about 3 tbsp.)
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped fresh cilantro
- 3 tbsp. fresh lime juice
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- kosher salt
- 2 large avocados (about 1 lb) cut into 1/2 inch dice
Preparation
Step 1
in a medium bowl, toss the tomatoes with the onion, cilantro, lime juice, red pepper flakes, and 1 tsp salt, and let stand about 5mins. add the avocado and gently mash into the tomato mixture with a fork.
