Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup finely ground pecans
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Cream sugar with softened butter in a large bowl.
Add 1 egg at a time, stirring well after each addition.
Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder,and salt together in another bowl.
Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream to creamed sugar mixture, ending with flour.
Add vanilla.
Pour 1/2 dough in 9 x 9" cake tin.
Mix pecans, brown sugar, cinnamon and sugar together for topping.
Spread half of topping mixture over dough in cake pan.
Follow with remainder of dough then topping.
Bake at 325 degrees for about 50 minutes. Check after 40 minutes.
