Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh minced garlic (6 cloves)
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can diced tomatoes (undrained)
- Tortilla chips
- Fresh cilantro (optional)
- Shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Brown ground beef in hot oil with onion and pepper. Drain off fat. Add to crock pot and add remaining ingredients. Cook 6-8 hours on low. Serve with tortilla chips, cilantro, and cheese.
