    cup sugar

  • 1/2

    xup butter (1 stick) room temperature

    eggs

  • 1/4

    cup BUTTERMILK

  • 1

    tsp vanilla extract

  • 2

    cups flour

  • 1

  • 1

    tsp baking soda

  • 1

    tsp salt

  • 3

    large very ripe bananas, mashed well

  • 1 1/2

    cups fresh or frozen small blueberries

  • FROSTING (optional)

    sticks butter, room temperature

  • 2

    tsp vanilla extract

    cups powdered sugar, sifted

    tbs milk, divided

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 - grease and flour 9x13 pan and set aside. 2 - in large bowl, cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs, buttermilk and vanilla and blend until smooth. 3 - In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to the batter and mix well. Stir in the mashed bananas. Fold in the blueberries. Pour into prepared pan bake 35 minutes. Frost if desired.
