Ingredients

  • 2

    t paprika

  • 1

    t brown sugar

  • Kosher salt & pepper

  • lb sirloin steak

  • ¼

    C EVOO

  • 3

    thinly sliced garlic cloves

  • 2

    thinly sliced med, shallots

  • 1

    T capers

  • 1

    t chopped sage

  • 8

    seeded, chopped piquillo peppers

  • 1

    t Dijon mustard

  • ½

    t Worcestershire sauce

Directions

In bowl, mix paprika, brown sugar, 2 t kosher salt & 1 t pepper. Pat mixture all over steak. In small skille, heat olive oil; add garlic, shallot & capers & cook until softened, @3 min. Stir in sage & cook 1 min. Add piquillos,, mustard & Worcestershire; simmer over mod heat 15 min., stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, heat grill. Grill steak 12 min, turning once to 130 temperature. Let rest 5 min., then slice & serve with piquillo sauce.
