Ingredients
- 10 slices bacon
- 1 medium onion
- 9 " pastry shell, unbaked
- 1 1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 tsp salt
- Dash nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cub half and half
Preparation
Step 1
Cook bacon and onion and break into pieces. Sprinkle mixture in bottom of pastry shell. Add cheese
Beat eggs slightly. Add salt, nutmeg. Stir in 1/2&1/2. Pour over bacon and cheese.
Oven 450
Bake on lowest rack at 450 for 15 minutes
Reduce to 300 and bake 30 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
