Bordelaise Sauce

Use for dipping boiled shrimp or ladling over grilled steaks

Ingredients

  • 3 T olive oil
  • 4 T butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/9 tsp fresh pepper
  • 1 T chopped garlic
  • 1 T chopped parsley
  • 1/4 C dry red wine

Preparation

Step 1

In pot over medium, heat oil and butter. Add salt and pepper and simmer 4 minutes. Add garlic and parsley and cook 30 seconds. Drizzle in wine and simmer 3 minutes. Remove from heat and serve.
