Soft Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 5 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together butter, eggs, 2 cups sugar, corn syrup and sour cream.

Sift flour, baking soda, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg into the creamed mixture, one cup at a time. Mix batter after each cup.

Form dough into balls and roll in sugar and cinnamon mixture to cover completely.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place balls on cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Bake until golden, about 9-10 min.
