Applesauce Cake Pudding

Ingredients

• 2 Eggs
• 1/2 Cup Lard
• 1 Cup Sugar
• 1 Cup Applesauce
• 1 tsp. Baking Soda
• 1/2 Cup Raisins
• 2 Cups Flour
• 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
• Pinch Nutmeg
• Pinch Ginger

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together eggs, lard and sugar. Combine applesauce and baking soda and add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Fold in raisins. Combine flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger and add to batter, mixing well. Spoon into 8" square baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve warm with milk.
